Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program

A phlebotomist represents the laboratory team, an essential part of specimen collections, processing, and testing that aids in disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment monitoring. They are often the patients only contact to the medical laboratory. This program meets the needs of students with NO PRIOR medical experience. The goal of this course is to introduce students to the past and present of the theory of phlebotomy. Graduates are to look at Medical Staffing agency for job placement. Students can find employment in health care facilities, physicians' offices, clinics, and hospitals. Job placement is not guaranteed, however ActiVein will put its best effort in helping graduates secure a job.
